It took me a while but I found a name.
It took so long to decide because I wanted something with a deeper meaning than just some ordinary name.
Avius: Latin: Astray from path
(Also roughly translates to aviation: flying)
Icarus is the son of Daedalus a craftsman who made a labyrinth for King Minos which he and his son Icarus ended up getting trapped in the center of, Icarus' father made them both wings of wax and feather, before his father flew out he told his son to not fly south toward the ocean and to not fly upward toward the sun.
And of course Icarus happy with the new ability to fly tried to reach the sun; the wings of wax melted and Icarus fell to the ocean and drowned. The story of Icarus is by far my favorite in Greek mythology and has alot of underlying meaning behind it, one is about knowing your own limitations. The other is: In the psychiatric mind features of disease were perceived in the shape of the pendulous emotional ecstatic-high and depressive-low of bi-polar disorder; which is represented by the rising toward the sun and the eventual crash into the ocean.
If some of you know me well enough you'd know I have bi-polar disorder, and I really love the name Icarus.
Have a good day.
